OURMALA supports refugees and asylum-seekers across London. We run gender-sensitive classes for women. We also work with children, young people and men. We work in partnership with organisations that share our values.

Mondays, THE HAPPY BABY COMMUNITY NORTH
All refugee and asylum-seeking mums and babies / children under 3yrs welcome

Schedule:
Arriving: 10am – 11am
Yoga: 11am – 12:30pm
English: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Lunch: 1:30pm – 3pm

We also offer childcare, hand massage and welfare advice and support every week. A GP visits the group monthly for drop-in appointments, we offer donated essentials like sanitary products, nappies and clothes in an organised and dignified way on a monthly basis and we also celebrate birthdays with cakes and presents.

Tuesdays, Hackney City Farm

10am – 12pm Yoga and social time for refugee and asylum-seeking women only.

1pm – 3pm Yoga and social time for refugee and asylum-seeking women only.

Thursdays, Euston
11:45am – 1:45pm Yoga class for refugee and asylum-seeking women and men.

Fridays, THE HAPPY BABY COMMUNITY SOUTH
11am-2pm Yoga class, English class and perinatal support.
All refugee and asylum-seeking mums and babies / children under 3yrs welcome

Fridays, South Kensington evolve wellbeing centre
2 – 4pm Yoga and social time for refugee and asylum-seeking women only.

‘OURMALA’ also runs two weekly yoga classes at The Helen Bamber Foundation, a weekly yoga class at The Grounding Project and a weekly yoga class at Praxis, as well as yoga taster sessions in harder to reach parts of London in partnership for the British Red Cross. At the beginning of 2019 we will also be starting a weekly class with Hestia, supporting survivors of trafficking and modern slavery.
